The first thing to check on the Opti-Brite RV Interior Strip Light w/ Switch - Awning Mount - White LEDs - Black Housing Item # ILL70CBSBAWN is the ground wire. Make sure it is grounded to a clean bare metal surface. A weak ground could cause the light to not light up all the way.

If the interior lights were tapped into the 12V feed from the trailer connector, connecting the wire to the positive terminal of the trailer mounted battery should make the interior lights work.
However, I'd check that the wire you're using is actually tied to the battery, as many times the trailer interior lights are actually powered from the running lamp circuit from the tow vehicle which is why they wouldn't work once the trailer is unplugged from the vehicle.

It sounds like your interior lights on your 2019 Legend are powered off a secondary battery. The exterior clearance/ marker and tail lights are powered directly from your 2020 GMC Sierra 1500. The small battery on the front is generally only used for electric trailer breakaway brakes. If being used with additional lighting the battery is replaced with a larger unit. I attached a picture of how bright the Optronics LED RV Interior Light # RVILL34 should be. As dim as your are in the picture you submitted makes me think that you either have a bad ground on your assembly or the power source you are using isn't 12 volts. Is it possible your trailer is 6 volts? I kind of doubt it is since you said it was made in 2007.
Use a volt meter # PT89ZR to test the power wire you are using to verify that you are getting full 12 volts at the lights.

Looking at the picture you attached most likely the issue you are having with the interior lights and brakes have to do with damaged wiring. The wiring appears to be damaged enough that just sealing the exposed areas won't quite be enough. I recommend starting by replacing these sections completely with new wiring. From your description it appears you do not have continuity from the batteries 12v supply to the pin for lighting. This may be due to a fuse or absence of that pin connected on your Ram where it is/was on the Chevy. I can certainly say that is a unique issue that I have not heard before. However, I suspect the wiring on the trailer is what is causing the odd lighting funcion. The trailer may be wired correctly according to the manufacturer but that does not necessarily mean it matches what is on the tow vehicle. If the white wire is the ground then what you might be experiencing is a short to ground. But the main issue here is that the interior lights need to be wired from the switch to the battery independently of any of the exterior lights.

What happens on some later model year Ford trucks is that the 12 volt output to the 7-way is turned off when in park or even during gear shifting. The easiest way to test this is the Pollak 7-Way to RV Socket LED Circuit Tester # PK12741 which you just plug in and which lights up in regards to each function on your F-250's 7-way, including the 12 volt.

The number 63 fuse is the correct fuse to check on your 2021 GMC Sierra 2500, and it should be your trailer battery circuit.

For just one side of your interior lights not working, it is likely a damaged wire or maybe a switch that is connecting the lights on one side has failed. You'll need to test the wires coming out of your switches with Circuit Tester # PTW2979.
